What is Fertility Counselling?

Fertility counselling provides a safe and compassionate space to address the emotional challenges of navigating fertility with endometriosis.

You’ll receive expert guidance on everything from processing thoughts around your diagnosis, to exploring your options and coping with the emotional highs and lows. With practical tools and support, you’ll regain control, make informed decisions, and move forward with confidence.

Together, we’ll develop strategies to empower you to advocate for yourself, build emotional resilience, manage stress, and maintain a sense of balance—ensuring your fertility journey is supported and positive.

Tick

Emotional support.

A diagnosis of endometriosis or infertility can bring a flood of emotions—grief, confusion, anger, and fear. Be supported as you work through the emotional impact and explore what’s possible moving forward.

Tick

Expert guidance.

Whether you’re considering treatments, already undergoing them, or unsure what your options are, these sessions offer the support you need to be able to make informed decisions that feel right for you.

Tick

Coping with loss.

A diagnosis of infertility, unsuccessful treatments, hysterectomy or miscarriage can be incredibly difficult times. Coaching provides a space to grieve, process your emotions, and heal at your own pace.

Tick

Empower youself.

You may feel like life is out of your control, but fertility coaching helps you regain that power. Develop the tools to make decisions that feel right for you, take control and move forward with strength.

Any questions?

  • What is a fertility counsellor?
Fertility counselling provides emotional, practical, and personalised support for individuals facing fertility challenges. As a trainee counsellor, I help you navigate the emotional toll of endometriosis, fertility treatments, and the uncertainties of your fertility journey. We work together to develop a plan that aligns with your unique needs and help you take control of your reproductive health.
  • How do I know if fertility counselling is right for me?
If you’re struggling with the emotional challenges of endometriosis and fertility, and you’re looking for a compassionate space to explore your options, fertility counselling might be a great fit. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, confused, or unsure about your next steps, counselling can help provide clarity, support, and direction for your journey.
  • What should I expect from a fertility counselling session?
Each session is tailored to your needs and focuses on the areas most important to you, whether it’s managing emotional stress, understanding your fertility options, or navigating treatment. We’ll talk through your concerns, and I’ll provide guidance and practical tools to help you feel empowered in your fertility journey. Sessions are held via Zoom for your convenience and privacy.
  • How long are the counselling sessions?
Each session lasts 60 minutes. You can book sessions at a time that works best for your schedule.
  • Do I need to be diagnosed with endometriosis to book a session?
No, fertility counselling is available for anyone who is facing fertility challenges, whether or not you have an official diagnosis. Many people with endometriosis experience fertility struggles, but if you’re dealing with other reproductive health concerns, coaching can still be beneficial.
  • How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions you may need depends on your individual situation. Some people benefit from a few sessions to address immediate concerns, while others may choose ongoing support as they navigate fertility treatments. We’ll work together to create a plan that works for you. I recommend that you book your first session and then discuss any further session with your counsellor.
  • How do I book a counselling session?
You can book your session directly on my website by clicking the 'book here' tab. If you have any questions before booking, feel free to send me an email, and I’ll be happy to answer any concerns you may have at hello@ pausefully.co.uk
  • Is the counselling confidential?
Yes, everything discussed in our sessions is confidential. I provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore your feelings and challenges. Your privacy and trust are of the utmost importance.
  • How should I prepare for a session?
Preparing for a session is simple and meant to help you make the most of our time together. Here are some tips: Find a quiet space: Choose a private and comfortable location where you can speak openly and without interruptions. Set your intentions: Think about what you’d like to focus on or any specific challenges or questions you’d like to discuss. Bring notes (Optional): Jot down thoughts, concerns, or experiences you’d like to explore during the session. Have a stable internet connection: Since sessions are conducted online, a reliable internet connection ensures a smooth experience. Be open and honest: This is your time to share freely without judgement. The more open you are, the more personalised and effective the support will be.
  • Do you do face-to-face sessions?
Currently, all counselling sessions are held online via Zoom. This allows for greater flexibility, convenience, and privacy, so you can join from wherever you feel most comfortable.
  • Can my partner join a session?
Yes, your partner is welcome to join a session if you feel it would be helpful. This can be a valuable opportunity to navigate challenges together and strengthen your support system. Just let me know in advance so we can plan the session accordingly.
  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance so we can arrange another time. I understand that life can get busy, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule.
